    Wii MotionPlus Support:

    -       Shot detection is enhanced as the experience becomes more like playing real tennis

Three core pillars for Wii MotionPlus enhancements:

    1)     Responsiveness increases and the literal actions for performing tennis actions increases

    2)     The aiming system becomes more  obvious as players literally navigate where they want to the ball to travel

    3)     The authenticity of shot types and consistency increases as users mimic real life shots at a higher level of control

    -      1-to-1 total control of the players actions

    -      Able to move the character's arm and racket throughout.  As user moves from the forehand to backhand so does your player on screen

    -      Wrist roll and trajectory are now better detected and your shots are recognized with higher consistency

    -      Same principles apply to serving as server prepares, then tosses the ball up to serve and swing

    -      WiiMotion Plus enhances the racket in the palm of the hand feeling

    Wii MotionPlus Reviews:

"I can't wait to play a lot more of the game, but even now two truths are rapidly becoming evident. First, EA Grand Slam Tennis is better than Wii Sports Tennis even without MotionPlus support. But with it, the game is in another league entirely." - Matt Casamassina, IGN

“EA's first crack at tennis on the Wii is shaping up incredibly well, the bright and breezy style concealing an intricate and deeply enjoyable alternative to the actual sport. MotionPlus support is just the icing on an already pretty appealing cake.” – Richard Walker, play.tm

"Once you plug in the Wii MotionPlus dongle, the title auto-recognizes it and takes advantage of its added precision. Simple, no fuss. And all of a sudden you play Grand Slam Tennis very differently. Rallies become much less about timing and much more about the motion and positioning of your swing.  The experience considerably more natural and intuitive than any tennis videogame I have ever played, Wii Sports included." - Matt Casamassina, IGN

“The level of finesse made possible by Wii MotionPlus even allows for purely swing-controlled lob and drop shots, whereas playing without the peripheral requires you to hold down a button during the motion.  It all works amazingly well, delivering an experience that feels far more authentic than anything else out there.” – Steve Thomason, Nintendo Power
