EA SPORTS Fall Preview Event
On Monday, four athletes representing four EA SPORTS titles visited the studio to participate in the Fall Starting Lineup event. Grand Slam Tennis was pleased to have 5-time Wimbledon champion Venus Williams on hand to show the media how to serve. Joining Williams to participate in the “King of the Court” competition at EA Canada in Vancouver was Orlando Magic star Dwight Howard (NBA Live 10), Milan Lucic of the Boston Bruins (NHL 10) and Sacha Kjlestan of the MLS’ Chivas USA (FIFA Soccer 10).
The athletes went head-to-head in their respective sports to crown the ultimate champion. Although Williams easily won the fastest serve competition, Dwight Howard reigned supreme in a tight battle and took home the inaugural EA SPORTS King of the Court trophy.
